Regarding: rera rules for redevelopment

Our society is confused and wanted the clarity on RERA rules for redevelopment process. Are the old members covered under the RERA when it goes for redevelopment or it is just for new members that are going to be part of the society. I mean we are 72 members currently and we have got an offer of redevelopment and the new society would form of 120 members. Hence, wanted to know whether the existing 72 members are covered under RERA or just new 48 members.

1. ALL the persons who are part of the Redevelopment Agreement alongwith the new buyers are covered under the RERA laws.  There is no exceptions.

Prima facie facts of the post are confusing, wherein presently 72 members want to form another society of 120 members.

Where is the property located ?

It is better to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts/ documents, professional advise and necessary proceeding.
