Reg: gratuity details

Hello forum members.

 

This is ravinder iam worked in one of the pharmaceutical company in India and rlast day of working is 12 august 2016. i have worked over the period of 4 years 9 months.

but HR people saying eligibility for the gratuity is 5 years. please help whether iam eligible for the gratuity or not. what i have to do............ please help me.

Then u complete 5 years of employment.

Dear Sir,

already i have releaved from the company total woking is 4 years 9 months only. now iam elgible for gratuity amoung as per the govt rules.

please suggest.

Count from DOJ to LWD.

Apparently you would be working for 4Y9M.

If th establishment works for 6days/week or < 6days/week, then the employee should have worked for 240/190days in 5th year.

You should be eligible.

                 To be eligible for gratuity, you must complete 5 years continuous service. 6 months of a year can be counted as one year.
