rectification in revenue records

dear experts
I have purchased a land of 2 acres and seller has been given the possession and applied for mutation but only one acre mutated and one acre still in the name of seller but I am having peaceful poession and enjoyment.
how can apply for rectification in the revenue records if not what is procedure to file a case in the court of law and who are the parties to be made.
kindly give me suitable advices on the above.

File civil suit under specific performance act for rectification of instrument in civil court.

Hello,

Mutation entry is based on the deed executed between the party and the title of seller. If mutation entry is not effected then you can appeal to circle officer or collector district.

First give petition to revenue authorities to rectify it you have to make seller as party ,if he don't object then it is easily mutated if he denies revenue authorities order to go to civil court .
