I am a Muslim. I have a younger brother and 2 younger sisters. My father owns a property of about 4000 sqft of land. My father has decided to settle the property only to his daughters and not to his sons. My father has decided to transfer half of this property to one of my sister by Settlement Deed and sell the other half and give the transaction proceeds to my other sister. He has already started the Sale process of half of the property. I and my brother as his son feel injustice is being done by my father to us. I need your advice on how I can approach legally as per Muslim Law.
A Muslim man is seeking advice regarding his father's decision to transfer his property solely to his daughters, excluding his sons. Under Muslim law, a father's property is his absolute possession during his lifetime, and he can gift or sell it as he wishes. Heirs' rights only accrue after the father's death, at which point the property is distributed according to specific Islamic inheritance rules.
