Proof of mental illness

Only a Psychiatrist appointed in a Govt hospital after careful examination can issue certificate of any mental illness.

Assuming that you want to get her proper medical care, it is suggested that you take her for counselling sessions by a psychiatrist in a private hospital first.

  

Only a government psychiatrist can issue the certificate. it's very difficult to prove your wife have schizophrenia before marriage as the time of this mental disorder cannot be determined I have read several cases where it could not be determined and husband lost in court. but it also depend on the time of marriage and when you notice the symptoms. try to get her papers if she got treated for schizophrenia that dated before marriage of hospital that will be very helpful. for now just try to get rid of her leave her parents and start to live separately. file the case soon don't delay.
