Dr. Parvin Kumar Mutreja (Advocate)     16 October 2010

Practice in USA

I have done my Doctorate in Law from India. I am an Advocate in Supreme Court of India Regd. for more than 7 years. As a PR in USA I want to know how can I practice or do any job or consultancy.

My otheer question is regarding Patent Law Exam. CIs it mandatory for an advocate to pass patent law Exam to practice in Patent law cases either in India or USA.   Dr. Parvin kumar Mutreja

Study: https://www.supremecourt.gov

You have to have a Bachelor's degree in specific field of science whose patent attorney you want to become. You have to be a US citizen too.[not merely a green card holder].

Study Switzerland based International Commission of Jurists:

Hope this helps.
