Power of attorney as a co-plaintiff

My Maternal grandmother filed a civil suit for eviction against her licencee. She is plaintiff no. 1.

My father is her general power of attorney holder, he is plaintiff no 2.

Can a power of attorney holder be a co-plaintiff, when he is not seeking any relief from the respondents?

Your father is being represented as GPA holder to your grandmother and hence he need not be a co-plaintiff, as he is not seeking relief from the respondents.
