please all laywers kindly kindly help

my marksheet was lost. so i got duplicate. so when i applied for recruitment/job. I got a mail that that my application is rejected due to duplicate marksheet. can company cancel my application due to duplicate seal on top. kindly help?

Give a written application with reason for another document.

People do lose documents for various reasons and as long as new document is valid , no one can deny employment.
