Plastic Collars

Hi, It is known that in UK, attorneys use White Collars made of stiff plastic. It is understood that it reduces the burden of  washing and iorning; and above all keeping it stiff. I got a couple of pieces from London. I just want to know whether in India, we can use these collars instead of ordinary collars made of cloth.
