Perjury jurisdictions

Sir/Madam,

A MNC company has filled a false 138 and 141 case on me in mumbai... I reside in chennai .. The case is still pending.. I wish to file perjury case on the company..Can I do That if yes ,than can i file the case in chennai or else I will have to go mumbai to file the same..Please Help\

If the cheque which bounced was drawn a bank in Chennai then per recent SC directions case u/s 138 Ni act has to be in Chennai. Just fyi.

For perjury case has to be filed while trial is on. So I'd imagine it would be the same court.

the complaint for perjury will be filed before trial court where the matter is pending.

How did you confirm that it is a false case, without disproving their claim in the cheque bounce case how did you conclude that it is a false case, in my opinion you are hurrying up with your predetermined notion (?), better discuss with your lawyer and decide further course in this regard.
