I am fighting crpc 125 case filed by my wife.
I was expected to file my affidavit.
I am not able to take leave and attend court dates in different city due to work. I asked my lawyer to extend dates by 3 months.
The lawyer said the he would handle it. He asked for exetension every month (n court). But he did not inform me everything.
When I went to court in 4th month, my lawyer said I have to pay penalty of Rs. 6000 to court. (Rs. 2000 * 3 dates)
Is this penalty valid? Is it really required?
Will I get receipt for this?
