Pagdi premise sale deed information

How landlord can hve detail information of sale deed of tenanted premise which was alloted to his tenant but, now it's been sold to someone else without landlords consent...

Inspect revenue records maintained by the area Sub-Registrar, where property is located and find out details about desired transaction(s).

I visited local registration office and tried to find but, didn't get any clue .

As my actual tenant resides at Pune since ast many years... so, they might have done deal in Pune??
can this b happen?
