Oci card from uk

My Grandparents and my parents were born in punjab, India, I was born in Malasia and have lived in UK since 1962

I want to apply for a OCI card, but my brother will not give me PIO that belongs to my father or his OCI number to be able to prove that my father was born in punjab

I have a copy of his passport, I have original copy of Farad, my father was born in 1927, so no birth cerficate.

How can I find out from his villiage etc proof that eithe my grandfather and my father were born in Punjab India

You can consult an advocate or a consultant hailing from the place of your native in Punjab state and give him the details to locate the particulars you desire to enable you to get OCI.  What were you doing since five decades or more and what was the reason for your silence on this aspect. If you are interested to visit India you can always do so by visit visa but at the present stage you want the property left behind by your ancesters hence you are looking for this privilege.

However you should understand that your borhter is notr an autghority and he cannot legfally stop you from getting OCI card, you may have to provide the details obtained from your sources if he is not responding to your request.

It is better to consult a local (Punjab) lawyer.
