I am unable to serve notice period due to mother health issue and My HR send legal notice stated that pay 1 Lakh Rs as liquidity damages.My Family reasons is valid in court and court will accept it. the ideminity bond is not executed on stamp paper an it is enforcable on me ?

Hello,
You are bound by your terms of employment agreement. You can pay in lieu of notice period. Non payment of stamp duty on indemnity bond will definitely have some impact on your employer's case.

Actually I have signed indiminty bond of 1 lakh and I unable to serve notice period due to mother health issues. They demand compensation of 1 lakh for not serving notice period
