Non-cts cheque issued before 2010

Respected Sir, if someone deposit cheque of year 2009 or before in year 2021. are banks going to accept the same ?

is bouncing case possible against those cheque issued.

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the validity of cheques issued before 2010 when deposited in 2021. It explores whether banks will accept such old cheques and if a cheque bounce case is possible. The advice suggests that while clearing might not be possible, cheques can still be presented for collection. It also covers the scenario of a signed blank cheque from years ago being misused, and advises on how to proceed if you discover such misuse.

A cheque is always and a cheque can be presented through other ways for encashment.  If clearing is not possible, it ca be presented as outward cheque for collection by post to the bank branch by the receiving bank.  Such cheques are not accepted in clearing and it is only the date of the cheque as appearing at the time of presentation that is valid while making payment.
