Good judgement and thanks for sharing.This is equal empowerment for women to work and eke out their own livelihood and NOT to thrive as a leech.Laws that are meant to provide succour to deprieved,indigent women should not be misused.

Dear Friend. This position is sicne ndecades. It all depends on what is source and amount of income of wife. Courts earlier also did not allow maintenance to affluent wives. If there was a gap in income and minimum life style support required court orders only that much.
