Nature of disposal - contested - decreed

Hi,

I got a decree for the divorce petition I had filed. The nature of disposal is "Contested - Decreed".
Does this mean that the decree is in my favor?

regards,

Sumesh Nair

Quick Summary
If your divorce petition has been marked as 'Contested - Decreed', it signifies that your divorce is finalised. This outcome is in favour of the petitioner, meaning the person who filed for divorce. To fully understand the implications and confirm the specifics of your case, it is advisable to consult with your legal representative and obtain a certified copy of the decree.

The judgment / decree in favour of petitioner, who is the petitioner in this case ?
