Name correction in 7/12

My mother owns a piece of agriculture land of 2 guntha in Pune, Maharashtra.
The first name has been mis-spelt as Subhadra rani instead of Shubhra rani on the 7/12. The error also appears in the kharedi khat. The person from whom we bought the land is not contactible.
How can we get the name correction done?
Please guide.

The buyer is supposed to note such discrepancies before signing and obtaining such document from Registrar office.  Check the signatures were properly spelt in the records of Registrars if any, as the entries must be supported by documentary ID copies.

File on line RTI Application to Registrar and seek information as follows:

Information solicited:

1.Please provide me the laid down procedure for correction of the name of the purchaser, when a title deed stated the name of purchaser as Subhadra rani instead of real and actual name Shubhra rani.

Regarding 7/12 a mere application for correction with bonafide ID like Voter card, or ration card or AADHAR self attested copies are sufficient.

What about the registered conveyance deed?

It's incorrect in the registered conveyance deed too.
