My uncle has filed a false police complaint against me

My complaint has filed a false police complaint against me and my brother citing the reason he and his son has a life threat from us..We don't have criminal record and his son is out on bail on rape charge..We are saddened by this complaint and what can we do out get out of this mess?

I can imagine the position of a law abiding person threatened by impending action under false complaint, but KEEP CALM and DON'T WORRY. Technically, if the police has not contacted you as yet, you are not even supposed to know that a complaint has been made against you. Now, some persons may sugget you to give clarification to the police, but I'd suggest, don't do anything with police just yet ... wait and see how things pan out. In the meantime, collect all documents that you can, as far back as you can, pertaining to your residence, activities, movements etc.
