My call history is getting tracked by someone without my consent

I have come to know that someone is accessing my call history without my consent. It seems they either have direct access or know someone who is retrieving this information on their behalf. I am using JIO as my service provider, and I want to know what measures I can take to stop this from happening. Is there any way to find out how this is occurring? Could someone within the service provider be leaking my information, or is my call history is being hacked?

I would also like to know how I can formally register a complaint or take legal action against this. Would sending an email to the service provider resolve this issue, or are there more steps I should follow?

If there is a specific way to write a letter to the appropriate authorities, what format should I use and what details should I include to address this issue effectively?

What preventive measures can I take in this situation, and is there any assurance that this won't happen again in the future?

I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this! . Firstly, it's important to note that your call history is private information, and it's not available to just anyone. However, there are a few ways someone might be accessing your call history without your consent. It's possible that someone has access to your Jio account, or they might be working with someone who has access to your account information ¹. Another possibility is that your call history is being hacked, which is a serious issue that needs to be addressed ASAP. To stop this from happening, I recommend taking a few immediate steps. First, change your Jio account password and make sure it's strong and unique. Also, enable two-factor authentication (2FA) to add an extra layer of security. Next, contact Jio's customer support and report the issue. They should be able to help you figure out how this is happening and take steps to stop it. You can also ask them to provide you with a detailed list of all the people who have accessed your call history. Additionally, you can check your call history online by logging into your Jio account or using the MyJio app ². If you notice any suspicious activity, report it to Jio immediately. Remember, your privacy is important, and you have the right to protect it.

Thank you very much for insightful response. I truly appreciate your time and effort in addressing my concerns. If possible, I would be greatful if you could kindly provide further guidance on the following questions:

1. If my call history is being hacked, should I contact the cyber cell?

2. Will JIO provide me with a list of people who have accessed my call history? If they do, what is the process for that?

3. If someone from inside JIO is leaking this information, would they expose their employee in such a situation, or would they protect them to safeguard their reputation?

I look forward to your reply and thank you again for your support.

You collect the details of the person you suspect to hack your phone or track your calls.

After that you can take steps to confront them legally
