Medical Assistant to a doctor

I am a Final year Medical student and was working as medical assistant to a doctor in Ratnagiri Maharashtra for having experience without any salary, I never said that I am a doctor to any patient but the landlady complained to Medical Authorities that am practicing as a doctor. Since 5 months I am not even working there. Can I be arrested for same.

please advice as I am worried.

The medical authorities have not yet licenced you to practice.

However, you have been working with some practicing doctor, hence complaint can not harm you, even if admitted by authorities.

There is nothing to worry and no legal issue is involved in the facts posted.

You can very well be a trainee with a practising doctor in order to learn the profession while studying.

There is no illegality in it.

If someone who do not like you is creating problem, let the authorities euqnire where you can reveal the facts and ask your doctor to vouch for you, there is nothing to be scared due to some complaints made by unscurupulous people, against you.
