mass resignation of all members of a cooperative housing committee

dear Sir

After the resignation of all members of our housing committee, what's the next action.

can we also remove the society's office manager.

please advise with your valuable legal opinion .

best regards

Quick Summary
When all members of a cooperative housing committee resign, the General Body Meeting (AGM) holds the ultimate power to address the situation. The next crucial step is to convene a special or general body meeting to formally accept the resignations. An ad-hoc committee may be appointed during this meeting to manage affairs and conduct elections for a new committee.

"We" means "whom" ?

AGM has all powers vested in a Cooperative Housing Society.

Whether resignation of MC has been considered and accepted, if so, who has accepted it ??

Convene a special or general body meeting as per rules on the subject.

Respected sir,

Thanks for your valuable answer.

We means the members of the housing society.

One point if the management committee members voluntarily resigned  still their resignations should be accepted by the General Body meeting. Or it is not required.

Thanks for your quick and valuable views.

They have resigned and if there is no body to accept the resignition it is impliedly accepted. You must check your society bye laws  for electing the new body and all the related matters

AGM will have to be convened, ad-hoc MC would be appointed on the spot who shall conduct elections for new MC and handover the charge to elected MC.
