Marriage registration twice

Hi,

If someone got married in 2016, by Anand Karaj in a gurudwara but they did not register that marriage, then again they got married to each other by hindu rituals a year later and got that marriage registered under hindu marriage act in the groom's state. Is it legally correct to get the first marriage registered too under anand marriage act in the bride's state?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores the validity and registration of a marriage conducted under Anand Karaj in 2016, which was not initially registered. The couple later remarried under Hindu rituals and registered that marriage. The user is asking if they can now register their original Anand Karaj marriage, even though a subsequent marriage was already registered. The core question revolves around the legal implications and possibility of registering the first ceremony.

Why did they got remarried under Hindu ritutals and customs as the marriage under Anand Karaj is valid ?

However, since marriage under Anand Karaj was unregistered, subsequent marriage registered under the provisions of Section 8 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 is valid.

Sir,

It was because the first marriage they did by themselves by eloping and the bride's parents were not happy with it, but later on they all agreed and decieded to remarry their children. Now if the couple wants to register their first marriage can they?
