I am 27 & my wife is 25 put up in Delhi /NCR, We are in a relationship from last 7 years, & we got married (Arya Samaj) in April 2011 & Registered the marriage in court as well in Sept 2012. But we both haven't informed any of the family members regaring our marriage, & both are living on own family.
I am well settled & even she has finished her studies as well. Her family members are now looking for her marriage in same caste (Chaudhary). & they have a hint they we are in a relationship but they dont know about our marriage. My family have no issue regarding intercaste marriage, we both are Hindu, but her family members are totally against intercaste marrige, even her family members are so strict & we both have tried to convience there parents, but they won't accept the intercaste marriage. Her family mebers are clearly said that, if we think about love marriage, then they will kill both.
We have one major issue as well, both families are living in same society.
I know as per hindu Marrige Act we have registered our marriage & we have valid certificate, marraige pics & videos s well.
Even one of my frnd said, when ever we are planning to live together, just before one day leave an application & marriage certificate at your nearest police station, staing that we both have did marrige as per mutal concent & without any force & pressure. and if any harm happen to us or my family members then girl family members will be responsible for it.
I have one query, if we run from house, then is there any possilbilty that her family members file any case againt me or my family members (any case like kidnaping, etc) because I am concern about my family members as well, does that applciation which we will submitt in police station will work.
also if I want that police protection should be given to my family then what is the procesure to avail it.
