Limitation

The period of limitation to file a partition suit is 12 years right and I want to know about this

Quick Summary
The law of limitation generally does not apply to filing a partition suit, as it's considered a continuing cause of action. This means you can file a partition suit at any time, even if decades have passed since a co-sharer refused to partition the property. The typical 12-year limitation period does not bar these types of claims.

Law of limitation does not apply for filing partition suit since its continuing  cause of action so can be filed whenever co 'sharer refused to partition the property.

The suit for partition is not barred by limitation. it can be filed anytime,  that is even after decades.
