Lawyers condole death of judge

 The judiciary and the advocates of Kanpur Nagar and Dehat district courts on Friday condoled the death of special judge SC/ST court Kanpur Dehat, Nihal Ahmad Siddiqui, who died here during the intervening night of September 3 and 4, 2009. 



The advocates abstained from judicial work while judicial officials paid tribute to their colleague in a condolence meeting held under the chairmanship of district judge, Kanpur Dehat. 



The judge was suffering from lung infection. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. 



According to C M Dixit, additional district and sessions judge of Kanpur Dehat, judicial officials of several districts such as Meerut, Shahjahanpur and Bareilly also condoled the death while in some districts advocates abstained from judicial work.
