Law for contract jobs ????

Kindly suggest me the legislation /rules/ act that govern the norms of appointment on contract.

Dear Mr. Rajeev,

I think that you want to know as to what law would apply in regard to appointment of a person on contract. The contract for appointment would be like any other contract between parties and would be governed by the provisions of Indian Contract Act, 1872.
