Land records by rti act

Friends,

I request you please clarify my doubts related to land records in Mandal Revenue Office.

Can one ask land records in Telangana State from their date of existence till the year 2020 under RTI Act?

Will there be a chance of denial? If so, what are the alternate ways to follow in this regard?

You can ask it.  But one thing you are asking the required information for a long time to till date.  Practically is it easy to give you such information? so please ask them for what you want for some period.

You may ask them the aforementioned information and seek their permission to inspect the record so that you can get the specific information while perusing their record.

You can seek the same but being voluminous the PIO may reject the same as the same shall disproportionately affects the financial resources of the said office.

Thank you

What is the purpose for seeking such voluminous record ?

It is better to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts/ document, professional advise and necessary proceeding.

As already suggested, the best option is to seek inspection of the records and afterwards apply for copies that are relevant.
