Land acquisition issue.

Hi all,

I have a query.

There  are 3 plots in a khata number as per bhulekh.

Before 1975, 2 plots was acquired by govt and no compensation was given.. and names of owners were cut from khata number of documents of revenue  dept.

But both 2 plot holders have their kabja on plots even today...

now what we can do to get the names added in the govt records in case of again road size increase compensation

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a complex land acquisition issue where two plots were technically acquired by the government before 1975, but possession was never taken, and the land was not used for the intended purpose. Although the owners' names were removed from revenue records, they still occupy the plots. The query seeks advice on how to get their names reinstated in government records, especially in anticipation of potential future compensation for road expansion.

Before acquisition of any land government issues (publishes in newspapers) notifications under Section(s) 3, 4 and 6 of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (repealed by act of 2013).

File your objections before Land Acquisiton Collector through a local prudent lawyer.

Sir,

Land was acquired before 1975 but govt didnt took possession and the road was built atbsone other place.

The owners have possession as of now .

The only issue is, owners names are cut from land documents.
