Dear forum,
My family has been staying in a flat in Kolkata for more than 40 years. It was in my grand father's name and than passed on to my aunty's name. My aunty does not stay in the flat anymore. My parents and I have been staying there. The landlord has asked us to change the lease agreement to my mother's name and threatened us if we don't do so, she'll take us to court. Please advice if it is necessary to do so or not. My father is physically handicapped and my mother is a house wife. I have recently started earning which is not enough for our family. Any help would be appreciated.
