Kiadb notice

Hi,
kiadb has issued a acquisition notice under sec 28(2) of the kiadb act. This is the first notice. Does this mean no transaction can happen in the said survey number. Can we sell the said land to another person since a final and second notice is not yet issued?

Thanks

Quick Summary
A user has received an initial acquisition notice from KIADB under Section 28(2) of the KIADB Act and is asking if they can still sell the land. While the notice is the first step, the ability to sell depends on the specific restrictions mentioned in the notice. It's strongly advised to consult a local lawyer familiar with Karnataka land laws for precise guidance and to protect your interests.

Local Karnataka laws apply, it is advisable to contact and consult a local prudent lawyer to protect your interest.

it is not known what kind of notice has been served, whether they have restricted you from selling or constructing the property or what.

Hence in the absence of details it would be difficult to render any opinion  to your query.

You may revert with details if you are really serious about the problem
