Joint ownership

sir/mam,
my mother's father(grandpa)given will to my mother which was self acquired property
and he passed away before 3 months.
we registered that property after that he died.
Mom got joint patta now( joint ownership my grandpa and my mom name)
my mother's brother filed case against my mom grandpa before my grandpa died claims that its not self acquired property (he himself knows thats its self acquired property.he filed case against because he dont want my mom to take over that property and do agriculture now)
if we want to sell land ..mother's brother need to sign?
or
we can sell that land without uncle sign since my grandpa left will to my mom?
still my grandpa name is there in joint patta
kindly guide us
thank you

Once the documents are registered, the title holder will have ownership of the property. No rights to your uncle.

If your uncle has filed a case and if there is any stay order from the Court, then you will not be able to sell the property.  In any case, the details given by you are very insufficicient to come to any conclusion.
