Joint family property matter

What is the nature of Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005? Retrospective or prospective?

Whether any alienation made before 20.12.2004 is having no effect of the Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005?

Give me details about it.

Q2. My query is one mr. Mohan  lal a deceased karta was holding joint immovable property and he alienates the entire proerty in 1986. Now his daughter has filed suit for declaration of ownership as a coparcenar and co-sharer. My Question is whether Hindu Succession(Amendment) Act 2005 applies in this case? I'm from respondent side and want to negate her claim. Whether i can plead as the act is prospective this law applies all cases after 2005? Please give me SC judgements regarding it???
