You filed your ITR for the years 2023-2024 this year, but this year you have to file ITR for the years 2024-2025 before 31-07-2024. That may be a cause not to receive your acknowledgement or response. However, consult a local CA or post this query in CAclubofindia.

You certainly had taken the assistance of an auditor or a CA to file the ITR, hence he would be the proper person to clarify this problem to you .
These are practical issues which may involve various factors due to which the process may be taking a long time, hence you may better ask your auditor to clarify and confirm if there was any deficiency in the returns which needs to be rectified
Once all the requirements are properly complied with you will get the refund also on time, if there is any

If your ITR (Income Tax Return) status for FY 2023-24 is showing "Under Process", it means the Income Tax Department is reviewing your return. Here are some steps to take: 1. _Wait for processing_: Allow some time for the processing to complete. It may take a few weeks to a few months. 2. _Check for intimation u/s 143(1)_: Look for an intimation under Section 143(1) in your email or on the e-filing portal. This intimation will indicate any discrepancies or additional tax demands. 3. _Verify email and mobile notifications_: Ensure you receive email and mobile notifications from the Income Tax Department. Check your spam folder as well. 4. _Log in to the e-filing portal_: Regularly check your account on the e-filing portal (https://www.incometax.gov.in/) for updates. 5. _Contact the CPC (Central Processing Centre)_: If there's an issue or delay, contact the CPC helpline (1800 103 4455) or email (contactus@incometax-cpc.gov.in). 6. _Check for additional information requests_: If the IT Department needs additional information, respond promptly to avoid delays. 7. _Be prepared for scrutiny_: If your return is selected for scrutiny, be prepared to provide supporting documents and explanations. Remember to stay patient and monitor your ITR status regularly. If you need assistance, consider consulting a tax professional or chartered accountant.
