Issue of process in criminal procedure with regard to specialy provision of submission/logic of surety.

Issue of process means to start off a trial. 'Is k baad case chalu hota hai' in the common parlance, although legally it starts after the charge is made. Process is issued to call the accused to the court. It means issuing a summon or warrant to call the accused to the court. This comes under section 204 CrPC. Sureties are demanded so that the accused may remain present before the court either personally or through his counsel. A bail bond is furnished to the court along with some surety to assure the court that the accused shall remain present on every date, otherwise, the surety bond shall be forfeited in favour of the state government under section 446 CrPC.
