Is crime against children also ok if done by mother or women

In man-woman relationship, I understood that even if a woman slaps or beats

a man in public, she is not punishable, but if man returns the slap, 498a comes into picture.

 

What about crime against children by woman.

 

They even slap their children in public

 

Is this really ok?

Depends buddy.

 

Slapping one's own kid is not considered a crime in India.

 

Also slapping does not make 498a.

yes slapping doesnot matters much by a mother toward her child but if she does cruelity then it matters.
