The Indian Penal Code, 1860 is unarguably very vast and sometimes confusing.
To study the IPC in an easy and efficient way, I advise you to start studying it from the very beginning of your semester. Pay close attention to your professor's explanations of the sections and examples so that you can understand it better. After class, read what was taught in class again and try to memorise it and ask questions to your professor if you have doubts.
Write important points on sticky notes so that you can just look through them when you have exams.
Underline importanat points and make sure you remember the key words.
Most importantly, complete studying a topic on the same day and don't procrastinate. Be consistent.
I recommend using "The Indian Penal Code" PB 36th Edition by Ratanlal and Dhirajlal to study the IPC
