Invoice / bills / receipts

I am sharing  a query which pertains to Indian law on providing Bills / Receipts / invoices after a financial transacted is done between two individuals thru bank to bank transfer.
Is it mandatory to provide a copy of Invoice ?  Or this can be by passed ? And what is law for a Consumer who needs these Bills ?

Not providing a bill to consumer is an unfair trade practice as per section 47 of the consumer protection act 2019.

Any bank that receives such bills for collection must collect 1)Hundi endorsed in favor of bank (Demand promissory note) 2. Invoice 3.C.form needed 4. Bills of lading (Waybills/Lorry Receipt/Railway receipt showing consignment was sent).  The collecting banker at the purchaser side after collecting the amount delivers such hundi confirming receipt of amount for the seller, invoice, and endorsing the freight bill in favor of purchaser for the delivery of that consignment.

Dear Mr Prasad

Thank you so much , as a Service provider of Security Services retained for security of the house is not providing Invoices for monthly Security payment transferred into his Bank account . Despite charging monthly GST on the same.. Thanks
