An enactment says it shall come into force on such date as the government by a notification bring the enactment into force for a particular area. No notification has been issued bringing the enactment into force in a particular area.
In the meantime the enactment has been amended a new chapter has been introduced into that enactment. The amendment act states that it shall come into force from the date of enactment.
Will the amended act come into force in a particular area for which a notification has not been issued brining the original act into force?
