1.  Boy & Girl meet, Agree for marriage, File for Marriage Registration before the district /taluka Marriage registrar and obtain marriage certificate.  All this would depend on the religion of the Boy & Girl.

If both are Hindus then they may marriage at any temple for solemnization and then get it to be registered before the Registrar of Marriages concerned under the Hindu Marriage Act (they can go for Special Marriage also).  If both are different religious persons, then they shall go for Solemnization and registration of marriage under the Special Marriage Act only.  For special marriage, a notice to intended marriage shall be filed by the bride and groom with three witnesses before the Registrar of Marriages and after one month, no objection is received, the Registrar registers the marriage.  The age of for boys 21 and girl 18.
