Check Status of Cyber Crime Complaint online @cybercrime.gov.in

  1. Login to your account on the official portal i.e. cybercrime.gov.in.
  2. Once logged in, click on “Check Status”

To file a complaint, the victim must submit a written complaint to any of the cybercrime cells. In that written document, the name, contact details and address of the victim must be mentioned. The Head of the cybercrime cell of the city has to be addressed to in the written complaint.

Firstly, Please register a complaint on https://www.cybercrime.gov.in/ or by going to the local police station. Secondly, Any person caught up in such a situation can report about it to the police or the concerned law enforcement agencies. They can also use RBI's Sachet portal and file an online complaint. A person can always access RBI's website and check for details regarding names and addresses of registered NBFCs.

The rise of "instant loan app fraud" poses a significant threat to consumers, with many falling victim to scams. Kotak Mahindra Bank advises users to rely on trusted financial institutions and verify app legitimacy before sharing personal information.
