Incoming calls barred

For an escalation with internet service provider, their escalation team contacted me. I missed the call and called back. I hear number does not exist. Their numbers prevent incoming. They have only outgoing.

This is insulting. Should there be a law that such technology should not be used? May be can DoT do something? Whom to contact to implement a law that prevents companies from using such numbers?

Quick Summary
A user is frustrated after missing a crucial call from their ISP's escalation team, only to find the number they were called from is invalid. They are questioning the ethics and legality of companies using numbers that prevent incoming calls. The discussion explores potential solutions, including complaining to the ISP and even considering legal action to advocate for a law against such practices.

Thanks.

I wrote to the CEO of the ISP.

Forget about this incident may be that created a specific answer. The remedy was already tried!

The question is can a citizen of India ask for a law and if so what should he do? Whom to contact and write to?
