Legally you can't proceed without paying the cost if the opposite party advocate sticks to it you have to pay if you want to proceed further in the case no time frame as such

While an order for "immediate" payment implies no set deadline, the plaintiff can initiate contempt proceedings soon after the defendant's non-compliance, provided the disobedience is willful and the defendant was aware of the order.
