if wife does not give divorce

wife is not listen her in- laws and also her husband ,she only follow the instructions given by her parents, her brother's are very cruel in behaviour with her in-laws, husband want to give divorce but she threatens law and her family that I will trap you for dowry and send you all to jail by calling the police, now be afraid of her or what to do because all the laws are in favor of the ladies.

Consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for filing a petition for divorce and proceed without succumbing to.her threats, if you have already decided so.

Hello,

If you are facing any cruelty from your wife then you can file a divorce application in court. Filing false cases is also a cruelty which can be a ground to file a divorce petition.

In case your wife is not agreed for mutual consent divorce then you may file for Contested divorce based on ground of cruelty in a Court of proper jurisdiction.
