How to request speedy trial for 498

You can file a writ pettition in the High Court for making it time bound....u first try to tender an application in the Mgistrate's court only...if not then High court...but why do you want to speed up...settlement may come thru n the mtter shall be disposed off by consent

BRajesh @ Ideally, you should not be requesting for speedy trial in 498a case as it's legal terrorism case (as per Supreme Court). I believe, you know that what you are asking for. Personally I think, you would be needing a lot of time to make your case strong and fight against the false allegations. Otherwise, you would be end-up paying hefty money to lawyers and your estranged wife...

Patience is a virtue in such cases!!!!

If you are innosent then file application for speedy trial. 

caution : It is speedy trial it doe snot guarantee acquittal so move in this direction if you are really innosent.
