How to remove spouse from ration card once divorce is granted
Hi All, i am was married with divorsed a woman now we want to remove her name from ration card which belong to her ex husband name, but for that her ex husband is not ready & not ready to give ration card cancellation OTP details for documentation process. therefore how can we remove her name from that ration card.

Apply to Deputy Tahsildar of Civil Supply of your taluk to remove the name with a copy of the divorce decree.

If he is refusing to remove the name just file police complaint as he cannot receive the ration on other's name, First infrom him about the consiquencies , he will be in trouble.

One cannot have a name in the ration card in respect of a person who does not reside with him (offence under ration card regulations) This can lad to cancellation of ration card.
In case thelady is no more his wife and still in ration card he shows him as his wife then he is outraging modesty of woman (crime under IPC).
In case he is continuing to draw ration in respect of someone who is no more his family memmber then it is a cas eof cheating public authorites.
