I have purchased a residential plot about 15 years back.
Entered into an sale agreement with the land owner.
I have paid 95 per cent of the amount at the time of sale agreement.
Registration was supposed to take place after 15 days.
Unfortunately, the land owner died in between.
Though registration has not taken place, i am in the possession of the land.
I am paying the tax from my side.
But, I am not sure whether there were continuous payments for 14 years or not to claim adverse possession.
There could be one or two years gap.
The expired land owner has two daughters.
One daughter owing moral responsibility is ready to register the land in my name
Another daughter is making some harakiri and not willing to sign the papers..
Pl sujggest me the legal way to get the land registered in my name.
