The fees for filing an RTI is Rs 10 for central government departments and the payment methods vary for different governments, some organizations might not ask for money while others can ask for IPO for court fee stamp. If you're sending the RTI  through post then it is Rs 10's IPO/Court Fee Stamp. Further people who are Below the Poverty Line may not have to pay the fee. If you want some copies of the documents then it is Rs 2 per section and you can make payment by sending the stamp, demand draft or court fee.
