How can i insure that the lawyer sticks to price decided in

how can i insure that the lawyer sticks to price decided in beginning and works as promised. (a business idea ):

Dear Sir/Madam,
Most common people has bad experience in dealing with lawyers and i
also face the same situation after fighting the case in high court. In
case the judgement be very adverse to me, i will also have to take
this same case to supreme court. The dilemma i face in such  that case
is that how i insure that the lawyer sticks to the rates decided in
the beginning and work as promised. Can you suggest some mechanism for
this purpose. I asked a bank manager for something internet-banking
equivalent to joint bank account in which if i deposit the full fee
then  he can withdraw it at the end of case only if i feel that he was
honest in his duty else i will also not be able to withdraw that money
ever. He suggested me a postdated check which i can later cancel if
lawyer turn nasty. But in this case lawyer may not trust me because i
probably have less cost on me therefore i was looking for something
like paypal of ebay or online joint account that be convenient to
work-out also.

If no such mechanism exist then i am planning to take agency to create an ebay like modality to hire lawyers online, it shall not be defficult because we have to arbitrate purely on the basis of clients satisfaction.

thanking you
sincerely

None of these things work.

You must select an advocate by proper verifiction and than should trust. No body can assure results , so you will pay after results is not workable.

The course of the process of law is unpredictable. The lawyer may estimate his fees based on his own judgment as to how long and how many hearings he will have to attend and argue. When the legal proceeings stretch, the lawyer may feel that he has reached the end of the tether and demand more from the client. There are some lawyers who deliberately take adjournments and extend the case so that they can demand more from the clients. Probably a lawyer can have a schedule of rates for his various services and bill the client on that basis from time to time as the case proceeds.
