Why should the police take the identity card of the defence personnel.
Let the defence personnel approach his defence unit adminstration with a complaint against the police officer about this, which will take up this issue inturn with the higher police officer and make enquiry into the incident besides retrieving the identity card

Did you report the matter to your commanding officer and SHO / DCP / SSP against such police personnel, if your statement is true ?
